Here you will explore:

  • Khast Imam Mosque

  • Barak Khan Madrassah

  • Institute of Imam Al-Bukhari

  • Muy Muborak Museum, home to sacred Islamic manuscripts, including the legendary Quran of Caliph Osman, believed to be the world’s oldest preserved Quran

You will also visit the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and walk through traditional residential neighborhoods that survived the devastating 1966 Tashkent earthquake, offering insight into local life and resilience.

🛍️ Chorsu Bazaar – Authentic Local Experience

Continue to the legendary Chorsu Bazaar, one of the oldest and most colorful markets in Central Asia. Beneath its massive turquoise dome, experience the vibrant daily life of locals while browsing spices, fruits, bread, meats, and traditional Uzbek products.

🗼 Tashkent TV Tower & 🍽️ Lunch at Central Asian Plov Center

After the bazaar, enjoy an exterior visit to the Tashkent TV Tower, the tallest structure in Central Asia.

Lunch will be served at the famous Central Asian Plov Center, where you can watch chefs prepare Uzbekistan’s national dish — plov (palov) — in enormous wood-fired cauldrons. Taste authentic Uzbek flavors in a lively local atmosphere.

🗿 Monument of Courage & 🚇 Tashkent Metro Tour

Following lunch, the tour continues at the Monument of Courage, symbolizing the rebirth of Tashkent after the 1966 earthquake and marking the beginning of the city’s modern architectural era.

Enjoy a short but memorable ride on the Tashkent Metro, renowned as one of the most beautiful underground systems in the world. Travel from Cosmonauts Station to Independence Square Station, admiring unique Soviet-era and Uzbek-themed station designs.

🌳 Independence Square & Cultural Landmarks

After exiting the metro, take a guided walk through Independence Square, the main square of Uzbekistan, surrounded by fountains, monuments, and official buildings. Visit the World War II Memorial Complex and see the elegant Prince Romanov’s Palace, one of Tashkent’s most unusual historical landmarks.

🎭 Theatre Square & Broadway Street

Continue to the cultural center of the city at Theatre Square, home to the magnificent Alisher Navoi State Opera and Ballet Theatre and the historic Lotte City Hotel Tashkent Palace (exterior visit).

Stroll along the lively Broadway Street, where local artists display portraits and handmade art. The surrounding area is filled with shopping centers, boutiques, cafés, and restaurants, offering a modern contrast to the city’s historic sites.
